Polyphony wary of offering Gran Turismo 6 release date

The Gran Turismo 6 release date looks set to remain a secret until developer Polyphony Digital can be certain of its launch plans.
During a Gran Turismo 5 Asia Championship 2012 event held over the weekend, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi told members of the press (via Andriasang): "If I carelessly say when it will be released, you'll end up with people saying things like 'it's been delayed again' so I will no longer say at this type of event."Yamauchi confirmed that GT6 was in development back in 2010, although he has left fans to speculate whether the game will arrive on PS3 or PlayStation 4.
But just last month, he said the studio was pursuing "the latest technology and the latest expression" for the driving sequel.
