The roles are reversed in Sony Computer Entertainment and Acquire's new PlayStation Portable simulation game. In "Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da" (rough translation to "For a Hero, You're Pretty Impudent"), you play as the very creatures you're used to fighting against as the knights, wizards and fighters of a standard RPG.
Playing as the Demon King, your goal is to create a dungeon, then dispatch monsters in order to prevent a party of heroes from working through your creation and capturing the boss -- you! All fighting is done automatically, which is why this is a simulation and not some sort of reverse RPG.
You view your dungeon in 2D overhead view. Initially, the dungeon is just a bunch of blocks. You'll have to dig out paths through the dungeon by selecting unwanted blocks with a cursor. Your monsters can be placed in these caverns. You also have to place food in the caverns, as only by eating will the monsters grow strong enough to take on the heroes who attempt to conquer your dungeon.
In addition to a story mode, the game will have a versus mode where you can see how good your dungeon is against heroes that your friends have edited.
This unique twist on the hero versus demon formula will hit Japan on 12/6.
