Listings for an unannounced Call of Duty: Ghosts 'Gold Edition' have been spotted on the Xbox One, PS4 and PS3digital marketplaces, as well as Steam.
Priced at £39.99 on PC and £54.99/$59.99 on consoles, the Gold edition includes a digital copy of the game, its first DLC pack, Onslaught, plus a wolf character skin. Activision has yet to officially announce the Gold edition, but we've requested clarification on the product listings from the publisher's UK arm. Costing £11.59/$14.99, Onslaught features four competitive multiplayer maps, plus a new weapon in the form of the Maverick dual-purpose assault/sniper rifle. It also contains the first chapter in Extinction mode's four-part episodic narrative, which is titled Nightfall.
Activision recently made the Onslaught DLC pack free to play on Xbox Live for one weekend only, with trials on other platforms due to take place at a later date.
The standard digital edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts is one of a number of titles set to be discounted later this week as part of an Xbox Live sale, with 33 per cent being knocked off the title's regular price.
