Burnout Paradise demo - next week

Criterion and EA are giving Burnout fans an early Christmas present; a Burnout Paradise demo arriving on either PS3 or Xbox 360 (or both!) next week.

The demo's imminent arrival was signalled by a countdown timer on the developer's official website, ticking down to Thursday, December 13 - a regular PlayStation Store update date.

You'd assume then that with that considered and the fact that the PS3 is the lead platform for Burnout, PS3 owners won't have to wait longer to give the crash-em-up a spin.

Going by the free-roaming nature of Paradise, we reckon the demo's going to be good'en (and come in at a massive file size as well).

We got to go hands-on with new instalment last week and it's looking fantastic. More on that next week, but for now check out our recent interview with the game's producer Nick Channon.

The full game is out on 360 and PS3 January 22.
