The PS3-bound HD port of Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation will arrive on the US PlayStation Store on January 14.
Ubisoft producer Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov confirmed the news today, following confirmation of the port's development in September. The PC version of Assassin's Creed Liberation HD will be released on January 15. The Xbox 360 version is yet to be dated.
Originally released on Vita, Liberation HD promises visual improvements, remastered music, new sound effects, gameplay refinements and new levels.
Starring the series' first female protagonist, Aveline, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is set in and around New Orleans in 1765, and first launched on PS Vita last year.
We said in our 8.0 Assassin's Creed Liberation review: "Some rough edges, but this is a quality game on a machine lacking in console-calibre blockbusters. Just remember, the score is relative to the platform."
