This battery pack for PSP connects externally to the PSP console and packs a massive 3800mAh of extra power for your PSP console, allowing up to three times the battery life. Acting as an external power source, the highest level of brightness (200 cd/m2) can be used. For convenience, an extra long cable is provided.

The Review Itself

The main thing that bothers you with a PSP is that fact it has relatively low battery life infact i seem to average out at 4 hours of playing time, then its a 3 hour charge until your able to go again. Well recently 2 External Battery packs for the Sony PSP were released, one was the same power as the PSP and one double the size of that, the pack im reviewing today is the 3800mAH External Battery Pack.

The pack came in a rigid plastic casing which protected it will. The External Battery itself has shown above is a small square shaped design that fits easily into your pocket and the long cable makes it great for playing on the move, the awesome thing about these External Batterys is that you can be playing and charge the internal battery at the same time, so when your in the middle of a game your not going to die at the 3 hour mark. The battery itself on my tests lasted for 8 hours which fantastically improves on the internal battery.

The design of the external battery means that it fits nicely into most pockets and its quite light too so you wont notice it there 90% of the time.

Rechargeable batterys are what makes todays consoles the best yet and the PSP is well known to have a short battery life, infact when playing software that uses the full power of the PSP it drains much faster, this External Battery much like the clip on one adds massively to the life of the PSP and unlike the other battery it works WITHOUT the internal battery in, add to that the nearly 3 times more power and its a great investment for long gaming days or even as an Emergency Charger :)

Overall i would give it a 9.7/10, get one and improve your PSP Gaming
