I wasnt expecting much from these Epoch cases as to me they didnt look hard wearing enough from screenshots on the internet. The colourful cases which are seethrough make it easy to see your Film or Game once inserted and the plastic case does seem quite tough on inserting the UMD into the case, it went in smooothly and seemed to go into a locking mechanism of sorts.

The UMD fitted snugly and so i dropped it from around 6 foot onto a softish carpet and the UMD didnt detach itself from the case. The weight of the case is very minimal and even with all 5 cases and UMDs fitted it wasnt too heavy on the pocket. A worry of mine was that the case would leave the open part the the PSP reads open to attack from Dust and scratches but its nicely fitted inside the case.

To get the UMD out its no problem, just a slight pull and your Game/Movie. Ideally these should be used in conjunction with a good case so that your UMD is given the best protection.

Although these are a nice product and cheap as well for the price, i am a bit concerned with 2 items, one is when pushing the PSP in theres the two bits that stick down that enable the UMD to fit tightly. The reason it bothers me is i can see scratching of the UMD case itself through this method. The second part that concerns me is that when your in a high risk of dust/scratching such as a beach then i can see problems should the case be dropped. With that in mind this is a product that when matched with a decent PSP Case will give the best in protection for your Films or Games

Overall i would give it a 7/10 , Its really a buy it or leave it purchase but not essential.
