To run REminiscene, you'll need a copy of the data files from the DOS version
of Flashback. Currently only English is supported.

Copy Flashback data files into the data folder.

If you want to hear music, you have to find MOD (.mod) files of the Flashback
BGM. I found a compatible set of MODs at
http://exotica.fix.no/tunes/unexotica/games/Flashback.html.

The mods must be called the following, otherwise no music will play:

mod.flashback-ascenseur.mod
mod.flashback-ceinturea.mod
mod.flashback-chute.mod
mod.flashback-desintegr.mod
mod.flashback-donneobjt.mod
mod.flashback-fin.mod
mod.flashback-fin2.mod
mod.flashback-game_over.mod
mod.flashback-holocube.mod
mod.flashback-introb.mod
mod.flashback-jungle.mod
mod.flashback-logo.mod
mod.flashback-memoire.mod
mod.flashback-missionca.mod
mod.flashback-options1.mod
mod.flashback-options2.mod
mod.flashback-reunion.mod
mod.flashback-taxi.mod
mod.flashback-teleport2.mod
mod.flashback-teleporta.mod
mod.flashback-voyage.mod

Controls:

D-Pad - Move left, right, up, or down
Analog - Disabled; see "Known issues" below.
Cross - Enter (Use object)
Circle - Backspace (Inventory / exit from a cinematic scene)
Triangle - Space (Take out / put back gun)
Square - Shift (Operate / run / take)
Start - Esc (Game options)
LTrigger - Save current game
RTrigger - Load game

Known issues:

The analog control was very erratic, so I disabled it.
If you have .mod versions of the music, they will play but may cut off too
early.
There could be other issues with sound.
Only English version is supported, other version will most likely crash.
