The Review Itself

The main thing that bothers you with a PSP is that fact it has relatively low battery life infact i seem to average out at 4 hours of playing time, then its a 3 hour charge until your able to go again. Well recently 2 External Battery packs for the Sony PSP were released, one was the same power as the PSP and one double the size of that, the pack im reviewing today is the clip on Battery Pack which is the same size as the PSP itself (1800mAh).

The pack came in a rigid plastic casing which protected it will. The pack was light once out of the packaging which when your holding your PSP with it clipped on is essential. The Battery Pack clips onto the PSP by using the 2 little holes and the top and the ridge at the bottom, you then plug the lead that comes out of the Battery Pack into the Power/Charge Lead Hole.

The Battery Pack took 3 hours to charge which is the same as the PSP and for those with a USB recharger cable its a must to have it charging whilst your on the PC.

First test i did was on a Flat PSP and once the battery pack was clipped into place and the power lead plugged in, the PSP was turned on, now heres a cool thing whilst playing on the PSP it was also charging it too, so it also acts like an emergency charger too.

On the Product features side of things it does all apart from working without the internal battery, but the only time you would do that is if the internal battery had been fried or worse.

The battery pack can be charged and left on while you have a fully charged internal battery.

Comments
Rechargeable batterys are what makes todays consoles the best yet and the PSP is well known to have a short battery life, infact when playing software that uses the full power of the PSP it drains much faster, this clip on Battery Pack doubles the life of your Battery and fits tightly to the PSP and another handy feature is that when clipped on it still fits inside most PSP Cases. The only downer is the fact that you have to have the internal battery in even though it claimsyo can have it out. The battery pack can be transported anywhere you need to go and play with it. It wont fall off whichis a good thing and the price is a cheap $14.95, so if you play on your PSP a lot it is a must buy.

Overall i would give it a 9.5/10 a big thumbs up and now im back to my PSP :)
